The Bluenose Inn offers 97 classically appointed hotel rooms and two person suites in the distinguished Mizzentop and Stenna Nordica guest buildings. The Bluenose Inn has earned the prestigious Four Diamond “Excellent” AAA rating for the past fourteen years.

The Mizzentop
When it comes to accommodation, the Mizzentop is a symbol of grandeur. Its 52 beautifully appointed guest rooms are the very best accommodations that Bar Harbor has to offer. These oversized hotel rooms contain your choice of one king, one queen or two queen sized beds. Most rooms feature a fireplace and private balcony with spectacular views of Frenchman Bay.

Stenna Nordica
Choose from 45 comfortable rooms in our three level Stenna Nordica building and you will enjoy immaculate accommodations. These well appointed guest rooms have either one king, two queen, or two extra long double beds and views of Frenchman Bay.

The Apartment
Our Two bedroom apartment provides privacy and comfort with all the amenities of a
full service hotel.

Mizzentop Suites
Our Two room Mizzentop Suites offer a private sitting area, as well as our usual luxurious bedroom areas. Additional amenities include microwaves and a 42" flat screen television in the sitting area.

Executive Chef Arturo Montes
Chef Montes' experience is extensive and his cuisine exceptional beginning 29 years ago in some of the finest restaurants in greater Chicago. Before moving to Maine in 1993, he excelled through the culinary ranks culminating with the executive chef position at prestigious Blushes Restaurant in Northfield, Illinois. In Maine, he expanded his culinary repertoire, and with his wife, established the only catering service in the state specializing in authentic international and fine cuisine. In Chef Montes' kitchen, "The highest quality ingredients and the most skilled preparation are not only essential, they are requirements." We are absolutely thrilled with the prospects! Be prepared for a truly exceptional dining experience.

Massage services are available each day of the week by appointment. Full table massages are available in-room or in our treatment room. Massage types include deep tissue, swedish, hot stone, and aromatherapy.

Our massage program is designed to meet the specific needs of each guest. We now offer manicure and pedicure services. Please call for an appointment.
