The property is located in Vail, Colorado. A hotel chairlift provides direct access to vail mountain and a hotel shuttle takes guests to and from the Vail villages (a 5 minute ride).
The hotel has 292 guest rooms and suites. the hotel was built in 1982 and has had numerous renovations; the most recent was in 2005. this is a fantastic resort hotel that features two restaurants, a luxury spa, a state-of-the-art fitness facility and two pools with jacuzzis.
Main lodge guest room courtyard view: offers one king bed or two queens with coutyard views. Deluxe guest room mountain view: these rooms offer more space and are significantly larger than the main lodge rooms. The bedding options include a king room with a queen sofa sleeper or a room with two queens, these rooms have a view of mountains and/or creek. cascade suites: these one-bedroom suites offer more square footage with a bedroom and a seperate living room. All suites have a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room and a king bed or two queens are available in the bedroom, either courtyard or mountain views.
Children's supervised activites are available for a extra fee.
The Cascade offers two restaurants. One is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The second restaurant is open for dinner only. The Cascade also offers the fireside lounge that opens for apres ski and closes late in the night. There is often live entertainment.
The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to and from vail and lionshead villages. Family plan: up to 2 adults and 2 children (16 years and younger) sharing with existing bedding use double room type. Resort fee: usd 30 + tax per room and night.
