The Evergreen Laurel is located just outside of the main city centre of Georgetown on gurney Drive. It is just a few minutes from the business district and within walking distance to the famous Gurney Drive beach. Though the beach is not much for swimming but Gurney Drive is world famous when it comes alive at night with the local hawker food stalls.

The rooms are large and have a higher ceiling than most standard hotel rooms, making it look very spacious. The cherry wood coloured furniture gives a cosy feeling. The carpets are green, and bed cover and curtains are in beige and pastel shades. Rooms come with free internet access and there is a loveseat by the window where you can sit and enjoy the view. Bathrooms are also of very good size and the white marble top and wall tiles are still in good condition. Deluxe rooms are the same as Superior room except they are all sea facing.
