Located in the city centre, this hotel overlooks the famous Leidse Square and one of the many canals of Amsterdam. It is also situated very close to the Rijks Museum, the Holland Casino, the Vondel Park, PC Hooftstraat, the most fashionable shopping street of Amsterdam, as well as the majority of tourist attractions.
This hotel has been completely renovated and is the first NH hotel in Holland to benefit from total renovation. It is now very worthy of its 5 star classification and, with its perfect location, it is ideal for all markets and comes highly recommended. 081107JG
The bedrooms were completely renovated in 2004 and now offer a vastly improved product. All rooms have an attractive dark wooden floor with dark wooden fittings and earthy beige and cream colour scheme and soft furnishings. As they have only recently been renovated, they are all in very good condition. The bathrooms are also newly renovated with beige floor and wood tiles and are also in very good condition.
There are two restaurants on this property. The Italian restaurant ”Bice” is very popular with local businessmen and overlooks the Leidseplein, and the new bistro lounge, which is located in the newly renovated lobby, serves light snacks as well as more hearty fare in a trendy and relaxed atmosphere.
The exterior of the hotel is modern.
The lobby was completely renovated in 2005 and offers a typical NH atmosphere with a predominantly black and orange colour scheme, wood floors, plenty of space and areas to sit, as well as the lounge bar mentioned above. It is both welcoming and luxurious at the same time.
