The hotel is situated in the centre of Copenhagen in the area south of the main Vesterbrogade, within walking distance of Tivoli gardens.
A top quality hotel with great location, perfect for couples travelling on a weekend break to Copenhagen as the hotel has a bit of a "romantic" feel to it. The hotel also has Spa facilities in the Axel Spa.
Please note that the hotel is located in what is called the 'red light district' of Copenhagen, but in reality this consists of a small number of bars and sex shops and certainly does not represent a dangerous area in anyway. (01/08MK)
Rooms are of medium size and are all in great condition as they have just undergone complete refurbishment. The decor is in neutral colours with dark wood and four poster beds. The bathrooms are large in size and beautifully decorated with mosaic details. Facilities in the room include flat screen TV, Internet accesss (at a charge to hotel) and DVD player. All rooms and public areas in the hotel are non-smoking.
Serving only breakfast, this hotel offers an extensive, organic breakfast with high quality bread and fruit juices among lots of other things.
In the lobby there is a small reception desk and next to it a small bar area. The lobby has a cosy atmosphere and with comfortable seating and is very inviting for a pre-dinner drink or night cap. Complimentary Internet access to all guests available in lobby area only.
