If you are coming to Sydney on holiday, make sure you allow plenty of time to take in all the attractions on offer. Sydney is blessed with a majestic harbour, excellent beaches, outstanding restaurants and a vibrant nightlife. The most frequent lament we hear from our guests is that they did not allow enough time in Sydney, even from those staying for more than a week, so be warned!
For the first time visitor, your starting point should be a cruise on Sydney Harbour. After that you might choose a day trip to the Blue Mountains, a guided tour of the Hunter Valley vineyards or a visit to one of the Wildlife Parks. Tour operators pick up and drop off at our hotel.
You do not need a car unless you plan to explore the areas outside Sydney. The independent traveller will be better off using Sydney's extensive network of buses, trains and ferries to discover the City. Or perhaps you might borrow one of our free guest bicycles to explore the hidden delights of Paddington and nearby Centennial Park.
